An Amazing Hidden Gem in the UK 🇬🇧✨ 🚌 Transportation After exiting the train station, head to the Metro 🚇 at Central Station and buy a Daysaver A+B+C ticket (£6.7 for unlimited rides all day). Single fares are pricey, so this is a steal! Fun fact: Some stations (like West Jesmond) don’t have ticket gates… 🧙♂️ No comment on "creative" ticketing. 🌊 Itinerary 1️⃣ Whitley Bay → St. Mary’s Lighthouse 🚌 Take bus 308/309 (return ticket, 30min) ✨ Spot wild seals! 🦭 (Check my homepage for seal videos 🎥) ⚠️ Look closely—their grey fur blends perfectly with the rocks! ⚠️ Visit at low tide—the path to the lighthouse isn’t submerged, and seals come out to sunbathe. 📅 Check tides at tideschart.com. 2️⃣ Lighthouse → Tynemouth Priory & Castle 🚌 Bus 308/309 → Metro (1h) ✨ The ruins themselves aren’t spectacular, but the views are breathtaking!
