Newly Opened Moroccan Family Restaurant in Warsaw, Poland
Recently, I’ve been super busy… haven’t posted any of my restaurant explorations. 😅 But today’s place was just too good not to share—thanks to the super warm and enthusiastic owner! By the way, our city already had a Moroccan/North African restaurant before, which was also quite authentic and tasty. I think someone might’ve posted about it? Not sure… 🤔 Anyway, this one is newly opened, run by a Moroccan guy and his wife, a famous Polish singer (though tbh, we probably don’t know her 😆). After trying so many different cuisines, North African food is a refreshing change! This place keeps things traditional but adds some creative twists. The menu changes slightly from time to time, but the highlights are usually available. Some must-tries: Goat Cheese with Pear (appetizer/dessert) – fragrant and unique, but beware if you’re not a fan of goat cheese’s distinct flavor. 🧀🍐 Chicken Cinnamon Pie – crispy, thin pastry with a sweet-savory taste. 🥧 Tagine (Moroccan Stew) – a must-order at any Moroccan restaurant! Their version features tender, slow-cooked lamb. Classic Harira Soup – a staple of North African cuisine, packed with rich flavors. 🍲 Eggplant Salad – served whole (not chopped) with special seasoning, a unique take. 🍆 And don’t miss their Moroccan tea—the owner proudly told me it’s Chinese tea with Moroccan mint, super refreshing! ☕🌿 Overall, it’s a cozy, authentic Moroccan spot with great vibes. Since it’s small, reservations are recommended. Prices are very reasonable too! 💯 Restaurant: DOM OTWARTY Address: Wojciecha Górskiego 9, 00-033 Warsaw 📍 (Next to the Polish chocolate shop at the corner near Shoe Store 20—easy to miss!) When I have time… I’ll be back with more updates. 😉 Thanks for your support in the new year, everyone! 🎉 #FoodWithoutBorders #HiddenGem #ImmersiveDining #Warsaw #Poland #PolishFoodie #WarsawTravel #StudyInPoland #LifeInPoland #PolishRestaurants #MoroccanFood #NorthAfricanCuisine 🥘✨
