Nice New Hotel, But Room for Improvement π¨β¨
Given how new the hotel was, it really felt like a great deal! I loved our room, and the location near the Riverwalk was super convenient ππΆββοΈ. One major drawback was that only one elevator was working during our stay, so there was always a crowd waiting, and it took a while to get up or down. To their credit, the hotel placed complimentary pastries and sandwiches by the elevator throughout the day, though some items werenβt the freshest π₯ͺπ . We planned to have brunch at 1Watson one morning, but the menu felt limited, and brunch didnβt start until 10:30 AM. That day happened to be the start of daylight saving time, so 10:30 felt more like 11:30 β°π³. We were hungry and ended up going elsewhere nearby. On a brighter note, we did visit the bar the night before for drinks and dessert, and the ambiance was lovely πΈπ°. I was pregnant at the time and was a little disappointed they didnβt have a mocktail menu, but our waitress kindly suggested a non-alcoholic strawberry mojito, which turned out pretty refreshing! The cheesecake was decent, too. If I ever return to San Antonio (though Iβm not sure I will β we pretty much covered everything in a few days π), Iβd consider staying here again depending on the price, but I do believe there are stronger options in the area. #HotelReview #SanAntonioStay #RiverwalkHotel #TravelTips #NewHotelVibes πποΈπ
