Night Rainforest Tour Experience

🚗 Night Walk Santamaria's Night Walk Tour Santamarias 🚗 This tour was recommended by our BnB host, and they offered a price of $32 per person including round-trip transportation, but the price remains the same whether or not you need transportation. They have two sessions, one at 6 pm and one at 8 pm, each lasting about 2 hours, although it was a bit over an hour and a half in reality. You can also buy tickets on-site for $30 in cash; there are several other night tour options nearby, so it's worth asking around. 🚗 Our group wasn't large, just two people, probably due to the rain all day. Overall, the experience was decent, with the emphasis on the experience itself. Whether or not you see wildlife largely depends on the guide's experience and luck, so it's best not to stress too much and just go with the flow. We saw many insects, snakes, the largest spider in Costa Rica, and were fortunate enough to spot a sloth 🦥. 🚗 It was quite interesting, with the guide providing constant commentary. The guide provided a flashlight for the path, and it's essential to be careful and pay attention to safety when walking through the rainforest at night. If it's raining, you might want to bring a disposable raincoat, as the guides don't recommend using an umbrella due to the inconvenience of holding it and the narrow paths. Also, for frog watching, it's best to go to Fortuna. #TropicalRainforest #NightRainforestTour #CostaRica #NatureScenery #Zoo #OffTheBeatenPathTravel #HiddenGem
