No More Lazy Days ❌? Let’s Go to Nashville!

🚗 Transportation: Booked my flight a month in advance – round trip was around $200. Probably cheaper if you book earlier (but hey, I got lazy 😅). This trip happened to coincide with a massive snowstorm ❄️, so Ubers were impossible to get. Ended up renting a car last minute at the airport. Total with gas and insurance was around $460. Split between friends, it came out to about $100 per person – not bad! 🍗 Food: When in the South, you gotta have fried chicken! Nashville is famous for its biscuits, but honestly… they’re just okay 🫤 (taste pretty similar to the ones you get for free at Popeyes). But!! I highly recommend this Asian fusion spot: Hawkers Asian Street Food 📍 626A Main St, Nashville, TN 37206 💵 Around $25 per person SO. GOOD. We devoured every dish within minutes – no time for proper photos 😂 Their char siu bao and crispy pork belly are a must-try! Unique flavor – not exactly traditional Chinese, but full of pleasant surprises. My friend from Shenzhen even said the stir-fried rice noodles tasted authentic! As for fried chicken and ribs – honestly, almost anywhere in downtown serves delicious ones. No specific recommendations – I indulged two nights in a row and ended up with a fiery mouth ulcer 🔥… but no regrets! Who can resist the joy of greasy, sugary goodness? 📸 Photo Ops: You’ve probably seen the famous “What Lifts You” wings mural 🦋: 📍 320 11th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203 Pro tip: Go when the light is good! The spot even has marked positions for the best angles – no more worrying about your boyfriend’s photography skills 😉 Also visited the Country Music Hall of Fame 🎸: 📍 222 5th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203 You can see instruments, trophies, and stage outfits worn by country music artists! I also got a ticket to the RCA Studio B tour – sessions run every hour with a guide. You even take a shuttle (this is where Elvis recorded!!). But… I food-coma’d so hard after lunch that I fell asleep during the studio session 💤🎧 🎤 The Bluebird Cafe: Where a young Taylor Swift was discovered! ⭐️ 📍 4104 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215 We arrived too early – the evening show hadn’t started yet (check out my tired face in the top right corner 😑). It’s near Vanderbilt University, and the drive from downtown Nashville is super scenic. #Nashville #LifeInTheUS #Tennessee ✈️🎶
