NOLA๏ฝ3 Days & 2 Nights Chill Guide to New Orleans ๐ฟ๐ท
ใStay ๐ ใ Honestly, no need to stay in the French Quarter โ you might get overwhelmed by the noise at night ๐ต๐ซ. NOLA isnโt huge, and rideshares are cheap โ ours never cost over $20 (except from the airport โ๏ธ). We stayed in a cozy rental in 70721 โ peaceful and convenient! ใDrink โ๏ธใ โถ Avenue Cafe ๐ฑ Must try New Orleans-style coffee โ so good! Itโs brewed with chicory (a roasted herb root) โ a tradition brought from France that became a local signature โ๏ธ๐ซ๐ทโจ. โท Cafe Du Monde Also serves the chicory coffee above! Their beignets are like fried doughnuts or sweet oil cakes ๐ฉ โ delicious! Some locations are cash only ๐ต. ใEat ๐ฝ๏ธใ โถ Cochon The pre-meal bread is legendary โ we ordered seconds! ๐ฅ๐ฅ Recommend the oysters and fried alligator ๐ฆช๐. The rabbit dumplings? Just okay. โท Felixโs Raw oysters and garlic butter oysters โ so tasty, like a night market vibe ๐ฎ! The bread was harder than my will to live ๐, but the shrimp were amazing โ highly recommend ๐คโค๏ธ. โธ Two Chicks Cafe Huge portions, great value ๐ณ๐ฐ. The toast was soft and not too sweet, fruit was fresh and not sour ๐. Crab croissant was a tad fishy ๐ฅ. Some coffees are bottomless + to-go friendly! โน Big EZ (Big NOOOO! ๐ซ) I love bold flavors, but this was salt overload ๐ต. Overpriced, served lukewarm โ even the corn was cold ๐ฝ. Tips are calculated after tax and suggested up to 40% ๐ธ๐ โโ๏ธ. โบ Rex House Kitchen & Courtyard Just walked into this French Quarter spot โ but the pasta was surprisingly delicious ๐! They have outdoor seating, and the staff were super nice ๐. #NewOrleans #NOLAGuide #NOLAFood #StudyAbroadLife #TravelDeepDive ๐บ๐ค๐
