Nola | Ultimate Food, Fun & Travel Guide – Just Copy It Blindly!
Today marks our ✨first day✨ in New Orleans, and we’ve dived straight into a walking spree 👣! We’ve got attractions, food, bars, and ghost stories all lined up – it’s non-stop fun 🔥! This is my first time in this "Jazz City," and every corner feels so full of character 🪞📿. Save this post now – it’s a must-read before you come ❗ 🚌 Tip for Getting from the Airport to Downtown 💰 After landing at MSY Airport, take the Route 202 Airport Express Bus 🚍 – it’s only 💵 $1.25 (super cheap, trust me ‼️) and takes about an hour to reach downtown. 🎭 Mardi Gras World ✨ This place showcases the process of making Mardi Gras floats each year 🎨! You can peek behind the scenes of those giant floats, mysterious masks, and over-the-top decorations – it’s perfect for photos 📸! 🚢 Port of New Orleans Right after leaving Mardi Gras World, you’ll reach the riverfront 🌊. The breeze at the dock ⛴️ is so pleasant – sit on a bench, watch the boats go by, and zone out. It’s that classic New Orleans-style romance 🥹💖. 🍴 Lunch – Peche Seafood Grill The vibe here is super chill~The food is light and not greasy. After eating, you can wander around Magazine Street (a popular shopping/dining street with cute boutiques and cafes). 🧃 Southern Food and Beverage Museum 🍗🍾 This is a hidden gem of a museum ❗ It tells the history of classic Southern foods (like fried chicken 🍗, cola 🥤, and hot sauce 🌶️) – total foodie heaven! 🌿 Garden District 🌼 This neighborhood feels like it’s straight out of a movie 📽️! The streets are lined with Victorian and Southern Gothic-style houses 🏡. Rent a scooter 🛴 or bike 🚲 to explore slowly – it’s ideal for taking OOTD photos 📸. 🦞 Dinner – Big EZ Seafood A local hidden seafood spot 🦐! Their signature lobster is 💥 incredibly fragrant and flavorful. Pair it with corn 🌽 and sausage 🌭 – it’s so good you’ll want more! 🍹 Nightlife – Tripsy Trumpet Jazz Bar 🎷🍸 How can you visit New Orleans without live jazz ⁉️ We chose this cozy little bar – it’s quieter than some spots but has an amazing vibe 🌃. Sipping a drink while listening to jazz is pure chill 🫶. 👻 Ghost Adventure Tour A guide takes you through the old streets of the French Quarter, sharing stories of famous local ghost sightings 👀. It’s more about history + storytelling – like listening to a "dark version of the city’s legends" 📖. If your English isn’t great, this might not be for you. 🍬 Dan Dan’s TIPS 📌 ✅ The French Quarter is busy and lively at night, but always stay safe ⚠️. ✅ I recommend staying at a hotel near the French Quarter – walking everywhere is so convenient! ✨ New Orleans had me hooked on day one 😩 There’s just so much to see, eat, and listen to~🎺 Tomorrow we’re going on a swamp boat tour to see alligators 🐊 – don’t miss my Day 2 guide!
