NOLA Food Review|Mulate's | The Original Cajun Restaurant 🐊🎷

🌟 Name: Mulate's | The Original Cajun Restaurant 🌟 Location: 201 Julia St, New Orleans, LA 70130 🌟 Flavor Review: • Basic garden salad 🥗 • Crawfish rice soup – light on crawfish flavor, more soup than rice. Just okay. 🥣 • Fried alligator and frog legs combo – alligator tastes like chicken, frog legs are tender. Fun to try for the experience, but not mind-blowing. 🐸🔥 • Catfish topped with crawfish – fish was tender, taste was decent. 🐟🍤 🌟 Overall Vibe: The decor is super retro – and genuinely so, since they’ve been open since 1990! 🕰️ Great for experiencing a bit of old-school NOLA charm. But the food? Not as amazing as some posts make it out to be. Good for a convenient meal if you’re attending a conference – it’s right across from the convention center! 🏢🍽️ Have you been to Mulate’s? What did you think – charm over taste, or worth the hype?
