Nola☕ Treasure Coffee Shop, the bread coffee is great👍

After arriving in New Orleans, I first went to Cafe Beignet to try their signature Cafe au lait—but honestly, it was just so-so. Not fragrant at all, and I didn’t taste anything special. The beignets were pretty good, though! 😐 This Italian-style cafe not far from the French Quarter, though? Total hidden gem! 🥰 I’d recommend it for the ambiance, coffee, and bakery—all of it. 🍴 Fourth Wall 📍 614 Gravier St, New Orleans, LA 70130 The vibe here is great—totally different from NOLA’s usual style—and it’s huge. Way bigger than any coffee shop in NYC, so it’s perfect for studying or working. 📚 Since I hadn’t had lunch, I ordered a blueberry scone and the Shroom Boom. The blueberry scone was massive and so not cloying. When heated up, it smelled like simple, warm carbs—so comforting! Every now and then you hit a blueberry, adding a little sweet-tart kick. It’s not the kind with a crispy crust or loads of butter, but it’s still delicious 😋. The mushroom 🥐 pastry was good too. The mushrooms add moisture, so the middle isn’t super crispy, but you can really taste the mushroom flavor. It’s savory, but not overly salty—nice balance. I heard they source their bread from local Ayu Bakery—smart move! 👏 As for coffee: their beans ☕️ have a rich rum flavor with a tiny hint of acidity. My mom and I usually don’t like acidic beans, but this was so good. With oat milk, the latte was fragrant—just wish the cup was bigger! 😂 Overall, if you’re in New Orleans and get tired of the local coffee specialties, definitely stop by here. #CoffeeShop #Cafe #NewOrleans #NewOrleansFood #NOLA #CoffeeHouse #CoffeeShopDesserts #Bread #Bakery #Coffee
