Nordic Culture in Aarhus❗️

💖 ARoS Aarhus Art Museum 🏞️One of the major Nordic art museums. You might not have heard of it, but you’ve likely seen its 150-metre-long, 3-metre-wide rainbow panoramic corridor on social media. This iconic feature, designed by Icelandic artist Ólafur Elíasson, is part of the museum’s architecture. Walking along the corridor offers a complete view of Aarhus. The museum houses a collection of avant-garde Danish artworks, and I particularly loved the installation art section. 🎨 💖 Moesgaard Museum 🏞️Located in the outskirts of Aarhus, this museum sits on a vast lawn with a sharply sloping roof that extends underground. Surrounded by forests🌲 and a nearby beach, the museum feels like it’s part of nature—very relaxing. Inside, it preserves artifacts from Denmark’s Stone Age to the Viking era, including the famous Grauballe Man. 💖Den Gamle By (Old Town Museum) 🏞️An open-air museum of urban and rural architecture from across Denmark, recreating the country’s historical landscape. Stepping in feels like time travel—with a circus tent, weathered pubs, old bakeries, and horses passing by. 📌It also includes smaller museums like a clock museum, toy museum, and tableware museum. A leisurely stroll through the entire area takes about an hour. 📌Aarhus might be unfamiliar to many tourists, but it has plenty of attractions worth visiting. Strolling through the city centre at night, you can feel the romance and coziness of this place. It’s truly satisfying. 💖 #NordicTravel #Denmark #Aarhus #Museums
