Not Everything Was Perfect... 🍽️🤔

Like some other well-known restaurants in New Orleans, I found Arnaud’s to be decent — but it felt more like a tourist spot than a truly outstanding dining experience. We started with the Shrimp Arnaud — it was okay, but nothing extraordinary. The shrimp weren’t particularly large, and the famous rémoulade sauce was tasty but not amazing.❤️ A friend ordered the turtle soup, which our server highly recommended as “the best in New Orleans.” My friend didn’t care for it, so I finished it — and while it was good, it didn’t come close to the incredible turtle soup I had the next day at Commander’s Palace 🐢🍲❤️. I also tried one of their fish specialties — it was cooked well and flavorful, but not particularly memorable. Overall, Arnaud’s is a solid restaurant with historic charm and professional service, but it didn’t stand out in terms of flavor or creativity.
