NY & NJ Weekend | Great Water Park for Dates and Family Fun 🌊

The Water Park at American Dream is an indoor water paradise, warm all year round. Tickets can be purchased on the official website. The park mainly features a wave pool, water slides, and a lazy river. The Kung Fu Panda area is designed for older kids, with water guns, fountains, and a giant bucket that dumps water. The Penguin Frozen World is perfect for younger children. There are eight sections of slides, labeled A to H, each with its own unique features. The best ones depend on your personal preferences. Sections G and H are located next to the wave pool entrance, requiring a walk through the entire wave pool area to reach the back of the park. The other six sections are on the right-hand side as you enter. 🔹 **A Stair** focuses on the deep pool, with three slides. Two short slides 🛝 drop directly into a 10-foot-deep pool, and one slightly longer slide circles around before dropping into a 6-foot-deep pool. You must be able to swim‼️ Staff will repeatedly confirm that you can swim. 🔹 **B Stair** features vertical drops, with three slides. One is 140 feet long, and the other two are 70 feet. The purple slide circles before dropping, while the green one drops first and then circles. The thrill comes from the moment the floorboard is pulled out from under your feet. It’s intense but not very fun in my opinion. 🔹 **C Stair** is all about tandem rafts 🛟. You need to carry the rafts up to the slides. There are three slides: the green and yellow ones are similar, both winding around, while the red one is more interesting with a large spiral. 🔹 **D Stair** focuses on side-to-side swinging, with two slides named Zigzag. One is called Zany, and the other is Zanier. I found them pretty average. 🔹 **E Stair** is the rainbow slide, similar to those in domestic water parks. You need to carry your mat up. There are six slides with no major differences; they’re all enclosed, winding around before a final drop. Since you’re headfirst, be careful not to hit the top of the slide when looking up, and keep your head high when exiting to avoid getting splashed. 🔹 **F Stair** is the star attraction here. Four people sit in an inflatable boat and circle the park in the air, with eight drops in total—four moderate, two small, and two large. Highly recommended, even worth a second try. This is also the longest queue in the park. 🔹 **G/H Stair** features four-person rafts 🛟 with a Shrek theme. G has two slides: the green one is fun, like a big funnel in domestic parks, lifting you up and spinning around, while the orange one mainly swings side to side. H has one dragon-themed slide, which is quite long, with a Shrek statue in the middle and an exit through the dragon’s mouth. It’s best to wear water shoes that cover your feet and won’t easily fall off; otherwise, walking on the plastic anti-slip mats can be quite painful. The shower facilities are average. You can rinse off, but don’t expect a comfortable bath. There’s shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but no hairdryer. The water comes out intermittently by pressing a button. #NYSurroundings #NewJerseyLife #NYCLife #WeekendWithKids #FamilyFriendlySpots #WeekendActivities #NewJerseyWaterPark #NJLife
