NY | Let’s journey back to the lost dreamland of wonder 🎠
🌟At the beginning of the year, I saw Lunaluna in Los Angeles, and I didn’t expect it to come to New York by the end of the year! 🌟Drake spent nearly $100 million to rebuild and restore these long-forgotten art installations, bringing this amusement park, stored in a Texas warehouse for 36 years, back into the public eye. 🌟It’s hard to imagine that in that era, artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, David Hockney, Sonia Delaunay, and more were invited to create a dreamland together. They built an amusement park where people could actually play on every facility! The first stop was in Hamburg, Germany, in 1987. 🌟On site, in addition to these artist-designed installations, you can also see documentaries and precious manuscripts. 🌟Before I went, a friend said the additional moon pass wasn’t necessary, but with a “might as well” attitude, I spent the money. To be honest, it’s a bit of a letdown; it’s a shame because most of the facilities in the venue are cordoned off. The moon pass allows you to enter a few of the installations, but it’s mainly for taking photos. 🌟Oh, and you can even “get married” inside! There will be a priest to witness and a certificate! (I think that’s how it works.) 🌟I don’t know if the whole experience in New York will be different, but overall, it’s a very worthwhile exhibition to visit! 🌟The Shed Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy 🌟Opens on November 20th Tickets are now on sale~ #ArtExhibition #AmusementPark #NewYork #lunaluna #theshed
