Unfortunately I haven't been here before and I have visited Puerto Vallarta and Bucerias four times in the last 5 months. And I've tried pretty much every restaurant since I'm opening one my own.
The restaurant was suggested by the property manager or where I'm staying. The atmosphere is good and they usually have some live band or even a guitar player with someone playing Conga or they're playing some type of percussion instrument.. The staff are very friendly and speak perfect English and Spanish. What I love most about the Mexican people cuz it suits me very well as I'm exactly like them jovial relaxed and just aching full advantage of when not working. I tried the chilaquiles chilaquiles con pollo and it was delicious. I tried it both the red and green. I prefer now the green where I don't normally like the green sauce on the side here so had a couple bowls. One being more of a Chipotle and another one. Very hot and spicy but tasty spicy sauce. The orange juice I ordered was fresh leaves squeezed and they asked how you preferred the pulp if they want to strain it more or not. The coffee was average but still good. Coffee and fresh cream which is unheard of. This is a five-star review and...

A more traditional, authentic Mexican style breakfast and lunch place. Warm and inviting interior with a Mexican flair. Service was quick and friendly. Mexican music plays softly in the background.
I ordered the eggs and bacon just because I needed a taste of home. Perfectly cooked over easy eggs (how I like them). Bacon was also perfectly cooked for my taste. Not soft but not crunchy hard either. Plenty of potatoes, some mango on the side and baguette toast rounded it all out. Flavor was fantastic.
Overall, it was a great restaurant for a Mexican breakfast as there are plenty of traditional Mexican dishes available on the menu. Flavor and service are great. Come on in and check it out when you need some breakfast or lunch (they close at 3pm so no dinner here).

Read moreWhat a wonderful restaurant! They were very accommodating of our entire party, which was made up of vegetarians and vegans. The waitress was kind, helpful, and spoke English very fluently. They made the plantain sopas vegan! It was clear she knew what she was doing - even stopped them from getting home fries due to them having butter in them. Much more thorough than most places. We all got sopas, huevos or plantain, and were very pleased. Their drinks were tasty too. It is outdoor dining, which comes with the perks of a huge iguana tree to entertain you, and the consequence of a potential bug flying into your drink (I really don’t think the restaurant could do anything to prevent this - just know what you’re signing up for). I really recommend this clean , friendly & delicious...
