NY MoMA: What to See in an Hour? (1)🎨
1⃣️ First, the conclusion: 🌊Take the escalator and head straight to the 5th floor Spend at least 10 minutes with Van Gogh's "Starry Night," and then go on a treasure hunt for Picasso, Gauguin, Cézanne, Monet, and more... 🌊 If you have time left, wander around the other floors. 🌟 2⃣️ ● Visiting this museum was actually a last-minute decision. The Metropolitan Museum didn't have many of Sargent's, Van Gogh's, and Monet's paintings on display, so I decided to spend an hour at MoMA to see the Impressionist masterpieces. It was just enough time. ● The p1 and some of Gauguin's works are from The MET. I fell in love with p1 at first sight. 🌊The entire painting focuses on the wonderful curves of the woman's body and the dreamy, see - through effect of her wet clothes. 🌺 ● I used to be completely baffled by Picasso, but after learning more about Cézanne, I started to understand him. 🌊He uses geometric curves to outline the human body. It's like "seeing is not seeing" – he takes this style to the extreme. 🌿 ● Gauguin is a mystery I want to explore. There's a strange attraction and an inexplicable sense of harmony in his works... #NewYork 🌇🌊
