NY Philharmonic’s Free Outdoor Park Concerts Return For The Season Tonight

Summer in NYC wouldn’t be summer in NYC without the New York Philharmonic’s free outdoor park concerts, and lucky for us the **series returns for the season tonight, Wednesday, June 4th!** A **beloved tradition dating back to 1965,** the New York Philharmonic’s outdoor concerts are an iconic New York City summer experience that transforms parks throughout the city into a snapshot of New Yorkers and tourists alike enjoying some al fresco tunes. And the best part is that the shows are entirely free! From **Wednesday, June 4th through Saturday, June 7th,** Gustavo Dudamel, will lead the orchestra in performances in Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, with each concert concluding with a stunning fireworks display around 10 pm. Each concert is approximately two hours long, including intermission. If you haven’t yet experienced the breathtaking talent of **one of the world’s greatest orchestras playing under the stars,** now’s your chance to change that! 2025 NY Philharmonic free outdoor park concert dates: ----------------------------------------------------- **Wednesday, June 4th at 8 pm** **| Central Park, Great Lawn, Manhattan** * Westside entrances: West 81st or 86th Streets at Central Park West * Eastside entrances: East 79th or 85th Streets at Fifth Avenue **Thursday, June 5th at 8 pm** **| Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx** * Enter the park from Broadway, near West 251st Street (concert site is north of the baseball fields) **Friday, June 6th at 8 pm** **| Prospect Park, Brooklyn** * Enter at Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Park West at 9th Street, or Bartel-Pritchard Circle at the intersection of Prospect Park West, Prospect Park Southwest, and 15th Street **Saturday, June 7th at 8 pm | Cunningham Park, Queens** * Enter at 193rd Street, near 81st Avenue or Union Turnpike (concert site is at 193rd Street Field) **No ticket reservations are required** to enjoy the shows, and attendees are welcome to bring picnic blankets and low-to-the-ground chairs for max comfort.
