NYC|Forma Pasta Factory 🍝 The Cheapest & Chewiest Pasta in Brooklyn!
No exaggeration—I’ve tried hyped spots like Piccola Cucina and Mare Luna, but this unassuming little shop in Brooklyn stole my heart with its incredible texture and unbeatable prices. We stumbled in after Rule of Thirds was full, and what a delicious surprise it turned out to be! 🍤 Mafaldine Scampi Curly ribbon pasta coated in a rich, garlicky sauce with fresh shrimp—every strand is chewy, saucy, and full of flavor. 🍅 Pipette Ragu A must-order! Short tube pasta in a savory meat ragù—perfectly al dente and deeply satisfying. Portions are modest, but it leaves you comfortably full, not overwhelmed. 📅 Daily Specials We Tried: Agnolotti (Wednesday): Cheese-filled pasta with soft, thin wrappers—rich and delicious, though not overly filling. Trofie (Saturday): Short, twisted pasta with tender braised beef cheek—hearty and full of texture. Lasagna (Sunday): A generous, cheesy bake—solid, though the three-cheese veg version we ordered was a bit simple. With most dishes between $15–$20, Forma is a gem for pasta lovers who value quality and authenticity over flashy settings. Can’t wait to go back and try more specials! #FormaPastaFactory #BrooklynEats #PastaLover #NYCOnABudget #HiddenGemNYC
