NYC | Atlas Kitchen Review 🏔️
Tried this well-known Chinese spot near Columbia (109th St). The decor is elegant and clean—great for a nice occasion or showing visitors. Flavor-wise, there's room for improvement. 🐔 Sichuan Pepper Chicken A decent starter with nice seasoning. 🌶️ Chongqing Spicy Chicken Too many crunchy twists, not enough chicken. 🥓 “Clothesline” Pork Belly Creative presentation, but taste was just okay. 🫑 Double Pepper & Century Egg Standard, reliable. 🦀 Crab White Soup Tasty broth with silky tofu. 🥬 Golden Soup Baby Bok Choy Bonus flavors from ham and century egg. 🐖 Sichuan Braised Pork Trotters Chopped too finely—hard to enjoy properly. 🌶️🔥 Hunan Style Beef Savory and spicy, perfect with rice. Foreign friends loved it! 🦐 Creamy Walnut Shrimp Salty-sweet… interesting, but gets heavy. 🍆 Salted Egg Yolk Eggplant Eat it hot—gets oily as it cools. 🍚 Yangzhou Fried Rice & 🥟 Potstickers Solid, no surprises. Atlas was on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list in 2020–2021. Worth a try, but maybe once or twice is enough. Left dinner to NYC’s first big snow ❄️—food was just okay, but the walk home was magical! 📍Atlas Kitchen 258 W 109th St, New York, NY 10025 #NYCLife #NYCEats #NYCFood #Columbia #UpperWestSide #Michelin #NYCDining
