NYC | Bazaar Meat 🌇 Should we consider a name change?

The steak was a bit of a letdown 😔 But the desserts were actually pretty good 🍰 The service? Well, that's a whole other story 🗣️ Almost had a fight with someone. I've been eating at Bazaar from LA to Vegas, then to DC, and now finally in NY 🌊 To be fair, the food is okay, not bad, but I wouldn't come back for a second round. 1️⃣ Blue fin tuna + fried egg 🍳 2️⃣ Denver steak tasted like fried sauce noodles 🍜 A bit salty, but the meat was tender. 3️⃣ Wagyu ribeye Akaushi So many complaints! This was the most expensive (218) and the most disappointing dish. 1.5lb of beef and it's this small? Is it all bone weight? We waited so long for the steak, and when it finally came, the edges were cold. Medium rare and it was still a bit chewy. Big disappointment. A guy who looked like a manager came to ask how it was. I told him the truth, and he said: “Oh, that's not usually the feedback we receive, but I trust you.” And that was it.🙄 Huh? If you don't want feedback, why ask? Thankfully, the waiter was great. When he came to check on us, I repeated the whole story. He immediately apologized nicely and promised to fix the issue. In the end, he comped all the desserts and gave us a discount. That made us feel better. 🌟 4️⃣ Pulpo a la gallega: small portion but delicious. 5️⃣ I'm not a dessert person, but their flavors were all pretty good. I especially loved the key lime one! (bottom right) It was perfectly balanced, sweet and sour. The presentation was creative with a sand castle, waves 🌊, and shells 🐚. So cute! If it weren't for that overpriced and ordinary wagyu and the shady “mgr,” my impression of this place would be higher. #NewYork 🌴
