NYC | You Can Always Trust Their French Toast! 🧈🍞

One order of salted egg yolk French toast, paired with a Hong Kong-style milk tea, and you’ll feel like you’ve been instantly transported to the streets of Hong Kong! 🚕✨ I’m absolutely in love with Kong Sihk Tong in Chinatown — it’s a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Hong Kong flavors. We went for a weekend lunch and only waited about 15-20 minutes before getting seated. (Heads up: don’t forget your vaccine card and ID!) Here’s what we tried 👇 Golden Lava French Toast 🍞: OMG, this was heavenly! The salted egg yolk flavor was rich but didn’t overpower the buttery, creamy taste of the toast. Eat it while it’s hot — pure bliss! 😍 Assorted Beef ) 🐄: A tasty combo of beef tendon, tripe, and brisket. It’s a small appetizer, so don’t expect a huge portion, but the flavors are on point! Satay Beef & Enoki Mushroom Chow Fun 🍜: So good! The satay sauce was bold and aromatic, and even though I usually avoid enoki mushrooms, I couldn’t resist this dish. Forget about “see you tomorrow” — it was worth it! 😂 Fried Chicken Wings 🍗: We played it safe with the classic fried wings, but the pomelo wings at the next table smelled incredible. Definitely trying those next time! Hong Kong-Style Milk Tea ☕: This drink can be hit or miss depending on who makes it, but luckily, the tea master was in a great mood that day — and it showed! Smooth, strong, and absolutely delicious. Pro tip: Grab a drink from nearby Chun Yang Tea House afterward — their teas are fantastic too! If you’re in NYC and missing Hong Kong’s vibrant food scene, run to Kong Sihk Tong! Your taste buds will thank you. 💖 #NYCFoodGuide #NYCEats #HongKongCafe #ChinatownEats #ComfortFood
