I always hunt for pistachio croissants when traveling—but somehow missed NYC’s famous ones! 🍴 Frenchette Bakery 📍 220 Church St, NYC Was near Wall Street with few bakery options, so finally tried theirs. Always hesitated—worried it’d be too heavy. Arrived around 1 PM Saturday; only one pistachio croissant left! It was delicious 😋. Not a wet pistachio paste inside, but pure crushed pistachios—rich, natural nutty flavor. The croissant was crispy, buttery but not greasy. Labeled “twice-baked,” but felt lighter than traditional dense versions—not heavy at all. Ate half and wanted more! Also tried a scone—okay, not too sweet but unremarkable.
