Winter in NYC has arrived fast and fierce! This weekend, craving hot pot, I discovered that Xiaolongkan has opened in Manhattan—right near Union Square! Strolling through the cozy holiday markets and then warming up with hot pot is the perfect way to spend a winter weekend. ❤️ Xiaolongkan is probably the hot pot spot we’ve visited most in NYC, and now we don’t have to trek to Flushing anymore! 😍 🔥 The Manhattan location isn’t huge, but the service was attentive and friendly all evening. The menu is just as good as the Flushing branch, and even our favorite spicy chilled tripe is available! 🤣 🔥 We always order the thick-cut fatty beef, beef tongue, and black tripe—all were top quality as usual 👏 The tiger shrimp were also fantastic, and our server even helped peel them all! 💯 🔥 I also noticed they’ve added a new mochi-stuffed fried dough stick—crispy, golden youtiao wrapped around soft, stretchy mochi, dusted with black sesame powder.
