NYC Italian Restaurant Surprise: Tomato "Gnocchi" Soup! π
This Michelin-recognized (but not starred) spot totally won us over with its vibe and unexpected twists β very "NYC Italian," super photogenic! πΈ ACIDO ACINO A blend of brandy, amaro, honey, and sour grape juice. Bitter at first sipβ¦ then weirdly addictive. Tastes expensive in a way I canβt explain. π§ CARAMELIZED ONION TORTA Buttery crust + sweet onions + a thick layer of goat cheese. Rich, delicious β but seriously heavy. A small slice goes a long way. π WOOD-FIRED WHOLE TROUT Came out looking majestic! Crispy skin, stuffed with greens and pine nuts. Heads-up: the filling has a wasabi-like kick β too strong for me, so I stuck to the tender fish. π CAVATELLI ALLO SCOGLIO Crab pasta that strangely resembled Chinese tomato gnocchi soup! My Shanxi friend said it tasted just like her hometownβs "tomato and egg cat ears" β a warm, comforting surprise. π« DARK CHOCOLATE & ESPRESSO GELATO Smooth, not too sweet β the perfect finish. π Ci Siamo 440 West 33rd St, NYC A mix of elegance, creativity, and a dash of home β definitely a date-night worthy spot! #CiSiamoNYC #ItalianFoodNYC #NYCRestaurants #DateNightSpot #ComfortFoodVibes
