NYC Refined Thai|Lime Steamed Fish & Short Rib, Sour & Spicy Love 😍

My friends know I’m a huge Thai food fan—when in doubt, Thai is my go-to. NYC has lots of Thai options, but many aren’t very spicy (or maybe I just haven’t found the right ones). This spot is from the team behind Antidote—a newer, more polished take on Thai cuisine. 🍴 Nemesis 📍 30 E 20th St, New York, NY 10003 🐟 Steamed Whole Branzino – My favorite! Tender sea bass in a tangy, spicy lime sauce—light yet full of flavor. I’ve had a similar dish at Fish Cheeks, but Nemesis’s version is bolder and more satisfying. 🥩 Padang Short Rib – Beautifully presented. The beef is lean but tender, with just the right amount of tendon. The sauce is savory-sweet, not curry-based—great for those who prefer less heat. 🍛 Green Curry with Chicken – One of the better green curries I’ve had in NYC. Rich but not heavy, and the chicken thigh is pan-seared first—juicy and well-seasoned. 🥗 Viet Style Rib Eye Salad – A table favorite! Tender rib eye topped with a zesty, spicy dressing, served with fresh greens—refreshing and flavorful. 🍝 Drunken Noodles – Wok-fried with great aroma and balanced spice—not overwhelming. Overall, Nemesis really impressed me. Every dish—from curry to steamed fish to beef—was delicious and well-executed. A must-try for Thai lovers in NYC! #ThaiFood #RestaurantRec #HiddenGem #VibeDining #Cuisine #Foodie #NYC #FoodLife #NYCWeekend #FoodDiary #NYCThaiFood #ThaiCuisine #NYCFood #NYCExploration #NYCStudent #FlatironEats #NYCEats
