NYC Restaurant Week | The Bar Room π
The Bar Room, a Michelin one-star restaurant, is a regular participant in New York Restaurant Week. It shares the same kitchen with its neighbor, the two-Michelin-star The Modern ππ. My friend had an amazing experience at The Modern and even received a free MoMA ticket! This summer, during Restaurant Week, I finally got to try The Bar Room! π β¨ 3-course dinner for $60 β the menu is super thoughtful! They serve Garlic Focaccia bread with some lemony cream spread. Itβs nice but nothing too memorable. π Appetizers: π΄ Cured Arctic Char ππππ Smoked salmon with apricot and smoked eggplant puree. The salmon is sweet, the sauce is tangy, and the key is to get to the bottom layer of the smoky eggplant pureeβit balances the whole dish perfectly! π π΄ Steak Tartare πππππ The steak tartare was hands down the best dish of the night! The raw beef is incredibly tender, and the sauce has a subtle wasabi flavor that doesnβt overpower. The fried potatoes on the side are super crispy and fragrantβI could eat ten more! π #NewYork #RestaurantWeek #TheBarRoom π
