Oʻahu Food Guide 🌺 Just Eat & Enjoy! 🤩
☕ Island Vintage Coffee Waikīkī 🥯 Must-order: Ube Bagel — absolutely worth the hype! 🥥 Their coconut smoothie was a surprise hit — even better than their coffee (which is solid, but Kona black coffee tends to be mild). We stuck to lattes — ask for less sugar unless you’ve got a serious sweet tooth! ⏳ Go early (~7 AM) to skip the crazy line — dine inside on the left. 🍣 Sushi Sho An omakase experience with incredibly fresh fish — we got chu-toro (medium-fatty bluefin tuna) and it melted like butter. 📅 Booked 2 months in advance — this was our priciest meal of the trip. 💸 Not the best value, but if you’re celebrating or making memories — it’s special. 🦐 Captain’s Fresh Coral Shrimp The BEST bang for your buck! 📞 Found via social media — called the captain the first day. He waited 40 mins for us (bless him!) — we got 5 lbs for $80. Each shrimp was hand-sized! 🍳 Took them to Yi Xin Cafe for prep: sashimi, salt-and-pepper, boiled, and soup. Processing fee: $18/lb. 👩🍳 Captain’s contact — drop a comment if you need it! 🌅 Hau Tree Restaurant Breathtaking sunset views over Waikīkī! 📌 Reserved 2 weeks ahead — they’re strict (15 mins late = cancellation). We lost our patio table but got seated at the bar — still amazing. 🍽 Food is decent — you’re really here for the golden hour vibes. 🍓 KCC Farmers’ Market Saturday only — till 10:30 AM! 💰 Pricey but convenient if you’re short on time. 🌟 Discovered apple star fruit — soft, sweet, and totally new to me! 🐟 Five Star Poke 11 flavors — mix 2 or 3 in one bowl! 💖 The owner is adorable and full of positive energy. 📍 Walkable from Waikīkī — load up on toppings and enjoy! A no-fail sashimi rice bowl spot! 🐟 Fresh fish, authentic Japanese counter seating. 🕒 Closed 2:30–5 PM — check hours before you go. Small space — expect lines at peak times. #GlobalEats #TravelAndFood #HawaiianFood #OahuEats #EatLikeALocal
