My first work trip to Nebraska—and wow, was it cold! ❄️ I barely went out most of the time because of the freezing weather. But on the last day, I made sure to visit a famous local brunch spot and explore the Old Market 🧱. The vibe was absolutely amazing—I could’ve wandered around all day if I didn’t have a flight to catch! A must-visit is Hollywood Candy 🍭—a fun shop packed with all kinds of sweets and nostalgic knick-knacks. Even Warren Buffett and Bill Gates have been here! For brunch, I went to Saddle Creek Breakfast Club 🍳, highly rated on Google. The retro décor matched perfectly with the delicious food and reasonable prices. Highly recommend! At the airport, I finally tried the Reuben sandwich I bought earlier in the Old Market—and it totally blew my mind! 🤯 The Reuben was actually invented right here in Omaha. Soft dark rye bread, flavorful corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, and melted cheese… pure perfection! 🥪 I also stopped by Lithuania Bakery and grabbed a whole Napoleon cake to take on the flight 🎂✈️. They ship nationwide across the U.S.!
