🌍 One-Day Guide to Pokhara, Nepal 🇳🇵
On my 31st day in Pokhara, I finally did —funny how travel becomes routine and you stop rushing! ✨ If you only have 2 days in Pokhara, a bus tour is perfect: 9:30 AM–4:30 PM, hits all major spots without breaking the bank. Here’s the itinerary: 1⃣ Gupteshwar Cave Been here before! Skip the underground—best pics are from outside anyway. Pro tip: wear non-slip shoes if you go in. 2⃣ Devi's Fall 💰 NPR 100 Across from Gupteshwar! Cave tour shows the waterfall from below, here you view it from above. Different angles, same beauty 🌊. 3⃣ Pumdikot Shiva Statue Pokhara’s iconic landmark! Climb to the summit for 360° city views. Warning: steps are steep—bring water! 🗻 4⃣ Peace Stupa The stupa itself is simple, but the backdrop is chef’s kiss: snap pics with Phewa Lake in the foreground 🏞️. 5⃣ Seti River + Gorkha Museum Visit during lunch break! Seti River has turquoise waters (like a natural infinity pool), while the museum tells Nepal’s warrior history. Tickets ~NPR 200 total 📜. 6⃣ Mahendra Cave 💰 NPR 150 Heard it’s tiny—skipped! Save time for... 7⃣ BAT Cave 💰 NPR 150 Went for the bats! 🦇 Caves aren’t deep, but you’ll spot dozens of tiny bats hanging from the ceiling. Bring a flashlight—they’re shy in bright light. 8⃣ Bindabasini Temple End the tour here! Gorgeous bougainvillea frames the golden shrine—peak photo op in the afternoon sun 🌸. 9⃣ Phewa Lake The tour "circles" the lake, but real magic happens when you: Rent a paddleboat (NPR 300/hr) Chill at a lakeside café with momos 🍜 Watch sunset from Lakeside Road—trust me, it’s epic 🌅 📝 Pro Tips Wear comfy shoes: Lots of walking between spots. Bring cash: Most sites only accept NPR. Skip the tour guide: Save $$ by using Google Maps for info. #PokharaTravelGuide #PokharaAttractions #Pokhara #Nepal #NepalTravel #SlowTravel #SoloTravel #OneDayTour
