One-Drag-Two Japan Travel Detailed Guide 2 - Tokyo ๐
Day 5: Shibuya City Walk ๐๐ธ Hachiko Statue - World's Busiest Intersection - Shibuya Sky - Shibuya Center Street - Shibuya 109 - LOFT - Gachapon (What's It Called?) ๐ก Shibuya Sky is said to require reservations 3-4 weeks in advance. We visited during the daytime. ๐๐บ I suggest you refer to the official sunset time and book tickets for one hour earlier. For example, if the sunset is at 4:30 PM, you can book tickets for 3:30 PM. ๐๐ธ This way, you can capture the daytime, twilight, and night views all in one visitโsuper beautiful! ๐โจ Even if you book tickets last-minute, check the official website first to see what time slots are available. If there aren't any suitable ones, try looking on Taobao for travel agencies. ๐๐บ Some of them have pre-purchased tickets, and different stores may have different time slots available. Note that you can only buy adult and middle school student tickets online. Elementary school students and younger should purchase tickets on-site. ๐ซ ๐๐ฟ Shibuya 109 feels more like a place for students and the younger crowd, which isn't quite my style. ๐ Speaking of Gachapon, it's a world of fun! There are so many varieties and they're all so cute. Both adults and kids can have a great time playing with them. We also quickly shopped at Don Quijote nearby and left with a full load of goodies. ๐๏ธ ๐๐ฟ I've seen some guides include Shinjuku and Harajuku on the same day as Shibuya Sky, but I think that would be too rushed. If you're traveling with kids, it might be tiring to cover everything in one day. ๐ฅบ #Shibuya ๐
