One of My Favorite Hotels! π
This was our second stay at Hotel La Croix β the first was back in 2019 before the renovation. This time, we stayed for 14 nights in a Gold Studio with two queen beds on the 8th floor. It was perfect for our family of four: spacious, comfortable beds, quiet despite facing the intersection, a well-equipped bathroom with an amazing shower πΏ, and a kitchenette that was ideal for our extended stay π½οΈ. The location was perfect for us β away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of WaikΔ«kΔ« (just a 6β8 minute walk), but right in front of Fort DeRussy Park and an easy 5-minute walk to the beach ποΈ. KΕ«hiΕ Avenue is just behind the hotel with several restaurants and shops (highly recommend Kono's Northshore Pork! π), and the tram stop to Ala Moana is right in front. The hotel also has an ABC Store, and Longs Drugs is nearby π. The housekeeping staff were friendly and provided plenty of towels, etc., and the front desk staff were welcoming π. You can borrow beach chairs/mats/umbrellas for free, buy beach towels, or borrow them if you use the pool πββοΈ. The pool itself is lovely, with plenty of loungers, and if you time it right, they're in the shade (it gets really hot! βοΈ). The pool staff were also lovely, and there's happy hour from 1β5 PM πΉ. This might seem small, but there's a filtered water station downstairs β bottled water can be expensive and wasteful, so being able to refill our bottles was great π§.
