Orlando / Tampa Food Recommendations 🍽️
Boshu Hotpot – Bashu Grand Gate All-You-Can-Eat Hotpot, $28 per person. 🦪 Unlimited oysters! Great value for money – highly recommended! Their fatty beef is delicious; we ordered four plates 😄. Also available: frog legs, snow crab legs, and marinated duck neck (though I’m not a duck fan). Extra charges for add-ons like pork brain and duck intestine!🔥 My favorite pickled fish dish in the US comes from Hunan Taste. Every time I’m in Orlando, I must have their Live Sea Bass Pickled Fish ($49 per serving). Honestly, I could finish the whole portion by myself 😄. Their stir-fried yellow beef was just okay – probably won’t order it again. But the fermented tofu water spinach was tasty!🔥 BBQ Spot – Lao Wang Next Door: Decent but not mind-blowing. Good option if you’re craving BBQ. Skip the grilled mantou (buns) though!🔥 Izakaya Tori in Tampa – Fairly average Japanese pub. Not bad, not amazing. Convenient if you’re passing through Tampa. Their grilled skewers were too bland for me – wouldn’t order again. Matcha crème brûlée was delicious 🍵, but the matcha tiramisu was just so-so. Wasabi octopus was good. Beef curry rice was alright – take it or leave it.🦞 Boston Lobster Feast – Lobster and oyster AYCE buffet, $65 per person. The lobster was just okay – a one-time experience for me. Their lobsters were a bit overcooked and chewy. Probably won’t go back 😄. Overall, Orlando has plenty of great Chinese food options. These are all worth trying – hope you enjoy! 😘 #Orlando #OrlandoChineseFood #OrlandoEats 🥢
