Osaka’s Tennoji Park & TEN-SHIBA: A Blend of Past and Present 🌟🌸🌿
Tennoji Park was established in 1909, following the demolition of the building used for the Fifth National Industrial Exhibition held in 1903. 🌍 ✨ Nestled beneath the modern Abeno Harukas skyscraper, this urban green space offers a refreshing escape in the heart of the city. 🌳🌇 The park is home to several iconic attractions: Tennoji Zoo , opened in 1919 🐘🦁 Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts , opened in 1936 🎨🌸 Keitakuen Garden , a stunning Japanese garden designed by Ueji for the Sumitomo family 🍃🌺 Unfortunately, we arrived too late to visit the zoo, with only an hour left before closing. 🕒 😢 The other two facilities were temporarily closed for renovations. Otherwise, this area would have been perfect for a full day of exploration! 🌟🎢 Surrounding TEN-SHIBA, there are plenty of restaurants and shops, making it a popular spot for locals of all ages. 🍜🛍 #HiddenTravelGems #TennojiPark 🌊🌸🌿
