Osaka Japanese Cuisine in São Paulo, Brazil 🇧🇷

Exploring the nth restaurant with my baby 💑 This is a Western - style Japanese restaurant with a high - end and stylish interior. It's spacious, with a dimly lit ambiance overall, but there are spotlights shining down from the ceiling—just the right brightness to see the food clearly without being though taking photos of people is another story 😅. I really want to some restaurants that are so dark, with only a few lights on—it feels like eating in the dark and you can't even see the food, which ruins the appetite! Ostra (Oysters) Served with three types of sauces, all pretty good. The oysters are fresh, but inevitably a bit fishy—you need a moment to recover after each one 😂 I miss the oysters I had by the beach in Itanhaém last time; they had a subtle sweetness, and I could slurp down several in one go! 🦪✨ Sashimi Platter My baby ordered this again—why do they love raw food so much? They drink ice - cold water and eat raw dishes... 🤷♀️ Everything was okay except the octopus, which wasn't very tender. It was pretty average overall. It's rare to see a sashimi platter without salmon, though! And what the heck was that yellow fish? We just ate it in a daze 😂 Vieira (Torched Scallops) I ordered this classic "picture - perfect" dish because it looked Instagrammable 📸. Each scallop shell had scallop, shrimp, and octopus inside. The taste was so - so—not very Japanese. Maybe it's Peruvian - style? When I first searched this restaurant, it said Peruvian - Japanese cuisine, but later it only listed Japanese 🤔 Sushi Platter The photos online showed beautiful plating—why didn't I get that? 😤 The wagyu sushi is definitely worth ordering, but the rest were just okay. The shrimp was meh... Iron Plate Octopus & Camarão (Shrimp) It tasted a bit like Chinese food? 🤨 The octopus here was tough—no good! ❌ Four - Color Ice Cream Yellow is mango, white is coconut, and the pink one? We literally couldn't tell what flavor it was 😂 The white coconut was the best! We didn't plan to order dessert at first—online photos made the desserts look... questionable. Some even looked like 💩, making me hesitant to try. But then the waiter mixed up our order and brought the next table's dessert by mistake. Since it looked normal, we decided to get the same! 😂🍨 #RecordingFoodIsRecordingLove #CelebAndBoyfriendDiaries #JapaneseCuisine #Brazil #BrazilTravel #SaoPauloRestaurantHunt
