Oxford – A Place Worth Revisiting

Finally made it to Oxford! It’s not too big or far – just a 1-hour 20-minute train ride from London 🚆, perfect for a day trip. I went completely unprepared – no plans, no research. Just bought a ticket and went! After getting off the train, I wasn’t sure how to get to the city center, so I asked a bus driver at the station when the next bus would leave. He said, “I suggest you walk!” 😂 That’s how I knew it was close – and it was! Just a 10–15 minute walk to the city center. The city center has only a few streets 🏙️. How long it takes to explore depends on how much you shop and take photos! 📸 📍 Worth visiting: Various grand cathedrals ⛪ The Radcliffe Camera (not open to non-students, but great for photos!) 📚 Other libraries – all located close together Alice’s Shop 🐇 Natural History Museum 🦖 Large lawns (where students have P.E. – so much youthful energy! 🏃‍♂️) Different colleges of Oxford University 🎓 Bridge of Sighs (not really recommended though 😅) Enjoying coffee/tea by the street ☕ & people-watching Zheng Restaurant (Chinese food 🥢) Various souvenir shops 🛍️ You can explore everything in about 4–5 hours ⏳ – perfect for a day trip! #Oxford #IsOxfordFun #OxfordUnprepared #UKDayTrip ✨
