Oxford β A Place Worth Revisiting
Finally made it to Oxford! Itβs not too big or far β just a 1-hour 20-minute train ride from London π, perfect for a day trip. I went completely unprepared β no plans, no research. Just bought a ticket and went! After getting off the train, I wasnβt sure how to get to the city center, so I asked a bus driver at the station when the next bus would leave. He said, βI suggest you walk!β π Thatβs how I knew it was close β and it was! Just a 10β15 minute walk to the city center. The city center has only a few streets ποΈ. How long it takes to explore depends on how much you shop and take photos! πΈ π Worth visiting: Various grand cathedrals βͺ The Radcliffe Camera (not open to non-students, but great for photos!) π Other libraries β all located close together Aliceβs Shop π Natural History Museum π¦ Large lawns (where students have P.E. β so much youthful energy! πββοΈ) Different colleges of Oxford University π Bridge of Sighs (not really recommended though π ) Enjoying coffee/tea by the street β & people-watching Zheng Restaurant (Chinese food π₯’) Various souvenir shops ποΈ You can explore everything in about 4β5 hours β³ β perfect for a day trip! #Oxford #IsOxfordFun #OxfordUnprepared #UKDayTrip β¨
