Oxford Citywalk: A One-Day Itinerary
Steeped in academic charm and centuries of history, Oxford may be compact, but it’s brimming with unique character 🏛️📚. I finally spent a full weekend exploring—here are some spots worth visiting: 1️⃣ Christ Church College A famous Harry Potter filming location! ⚡🧙 I didn’t get in (book ahead!), but the exterior alone is gorgeous. Perfect for photos! 2️⃣ Museum of Natural History 🦖🦜 FREE entry + no booking needed! Packed with fossils, specimens, and even a dodo bird exhibit. Great for families 👨👩👧👦. 3️⃣ Radcliffe Camera 📸 The iconic domed library—not open to the public, but a must-photograph spot! 4️⃣ Bridge of Sighs 🌉 A small, quick-stop landmark. Pretty but simple—manage your expectations 😄. 5️⃣ Trinity College 🎓 £5 cash-only entry 💷. Quite small and underwhelming—maybe skip unless you’re a super fan. 6️⃣ Bodleian Old Library 📖 One of Europe’s oldest libraries! ✅ Booking essential—plan ahead! ⚠️ Tips: Comfortable shoes are a MUST 👟—everything is walkable. UK weather is wild 🌦️—sunny at noon, chilly by night. Bring layers and an umbrella! Sunny days = great photos ☀️📸. 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford 🛏️ Around ¥1000/night, clean and modern Has its own restaurant & bar 🍹 I’ve stayed here twice—highly recommend! #UKTravel #Oxford #VisitOxford #OxfordLife ✨
