Palm Springs Food | Shabu Shabu Review ๐Ÿฒ

I tried this Japanese hot pot spot in the desert a while back and finally sharing my experience! No ads โ€“ just honest thoughts for those planning a trip to Palm Springs. ๐Ÿ“ Address: F, 71680 CA-111, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 ๐Ÿ’ฐ Price: $60-80 per person (without A5 wagyu), $100+ with A5 Ratings: ๐Ÿž๏ธ Environment: 8/10 โ€“ Classic shabu shabu setup with both tables and bar seating. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿณ Service: 7/10 โ€“ Waitstaff were friendly, but the owner seemed a bit cold. ๐Ÿฒ Food: 8/10 โ€“ Above average for shabu shabu, but bonus points for being in Palm Springs! What we ordered: ๐Ÿค Cracker Shrimp โ€“ Lightly fried, crispy, and not greasy. Served with fresh veggies โ€“ a nice starter! ๐Ÿฅฉ Beef Platters โ€“ Tried three types: Washu American Wagyu USDA Prime Ribeye Premium Ribeye of Washu The Premium Ribeye was the best ๐Ÿฅ‡ (and most expensive). The other two were also good though โ€“ great alternatives if you donโ€™t need super high-end wagyu. ๐Ÿฅฌ Veggie Platter โ€“ Complimentary (as with most shabu shabu places). ๐Ÿ– Pork Belly โ€“ Pretty standard. Stick with the beef if you can! Final thoughts: Itโ€™s not easy finding a shabu shabu place in the desert! While it wasnโ€™t mind-blowing, itโ€™s definitely a solid choice in the area. Despite the ownerโ€™s meh vibe ๐Ÿ˜ฌ, the servers were kind and attentive. Worth trying if youโ€™re craving hot pot in Palm Springs! #CaliforniaEats #PalmSprings #ShabuShabu #JapaneseHotPot #FoodReview #PalmSpringsFood
