Palm Springs Food | Shabu Shabu Review π²
I tried this Japanese hot pot spot in the desert a while back and finally sharing my experience! No ads β just honest thoughts for those planning a trip to Palm Springs. π Address: F, 71680 CA-111, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270 π° Price: $60-80 per person (without A5 wagyu), $100+ with A5 Ratings: ποΈ Environment: 8/10 β Classic shabu shabu setup with both tables and bar seating. π¨π³ Service: 7/10 β Waitstaff were friendly, but the owner seemed a bit cold. π² Food: 8/10 β Above average for shabu shabu, but bonus points for being in Palm Springs! What we ordered: π€ Cracker Shrimp β Lightly fried, crispy, and not greasy. Served with fresh veggies β a nice starter! π₯© Beef Platters β Tried three types: Washu American Wagyu USDA Prime Ribeye Premium Ribeye of Washu The Premium Ribeye was the best π₯ (and most expensive). The other two were also good though β great alternatives if you donβt need super high-end wagyu. π₯¬ Veggie Platter β Complimentary (as with most shabu shabu places). π Pork Belly β Pretty standard. Stick with the beef if you can! Final thoughts: Itβs not easy finding a shabu shabu place in the desert! While it wasnβt mind-blowing, itβs definitely a solid choice in the area. Despite the ownerβs meh vibe π¬, the servers were kind and attentive. Worth trying if youβre craving hot pot in Palm Springs! #CaliforniaEats #PalmSprings #ShabuShabu #JapaneseHotPot #FoodReview #PalmSpringsFood
