Panama City Beach | Florida’s Vacation Paradise

Checked in at this lesser-known vacation spot in northern Florida before Thanksgiving 🏝️. It’s off-season, so it’s not too crowded. Here are some must-visit spots for eating, drinking, and having fun, recommended by both tourists and locals 🎠. 🌟 Attractions: 🎡 Pier Park - A mini Disney-style seaside pedestrian street with amusement rides, shopping, and dining. Recommended to take a ride on the Ferris wheel at sunset to see the ocean sunset 🌅. 🌊 Just across the road from Pier Park is the beach with very fine white sand. It’s dog-friendly, and there’s also a bridge nearby for fishing 🎣. 🐬 Sea Screamer - A dolphin-watching tour at sea. This activity is highly recommended. You can book it in advance on their website. The full trip is two hours long, and we saw many groups of dolphins jumping with joy. We booked the sunset tour at 3 PM, and the return trip was accompanied by a sunset dolphin dance - it doesn’t get more romantic than this! (It’s cold on the boat, so dress warmly.) 🎪 WonderWorks - An indoor amusement park with a slanted roof. It’s suitable for all ages with science-themed activities like a hurricane simulator and a bubble lab, as well as rides and laser tag. ⛰️ St. Andrews State Park - A small park where you can drive around to kill time. It was under construction when we visited, so we mainly walked along the beach inside. 🍽️ Food: 🦪 Dusty’s Oyster Bar - A local famous oyster restaurant with walls decorated with 💵. We tried the raw oysters and oysters grilled with cheese. The crab legs were also good - everything was very fresh. 🍹 Saltwater Grill - A restaurant with an indoor aquarium where you can dine while watching 🐟. The Firecracker Shrimp is a recommended appetizer. 🍝 Firefly - The restaurant has a large tree with lights, and dining beside it is very pleasant. Unfortunately, we couldn’t sit by the tree because we didn’t have a reservation. The food was average, and the service was slow; the bread arrived after we had finished two appetizers 🫢. 🥐 Gypsea Crepes - Another famous crepe shop with both sweet and savory options. We ordered two fruit and yogurt-filled crepes with Oreo crumbles - perfect! #Florida #FloridaTravel #NorthAmericaTravel #panamacitybeach #BeachPhotos #WeekendGetaways #HiddenGems
