Paris’s Most Popular French Restaurant LINETTE

While it’s said that you can’t go wrong with a blind choice of French restaurants, this place is definitely in my top tier. 💁 First, the owner and the staff are super nice, exuding that romantic French charm. They’ll crack fun little jokes with you when you order and when you pay, teasing you into a good mood. The emotional value is off the charts! 🥘 Cuisses de Canard - Confit Duck The confit duck here is simply outstanding. The skin is crispy, and the meat is tender without being gamey. The rich, oily flavor of the duck meat quickly spreads across your taste buds, incredibly aromatic. The accompanying potatoes are just average, though. 🐌 6 snails with parsley garlic butter I always thought snails would have a weird taste, but surprise! There’s none of that. Although I couldn’t pinpoint any particular flavor, they were pretty tasty nonetheless. 🥩 Semi-cooked homemade foie gras What are you waiting for in France if not to eat foie gras? The foie gras here is served cold, yet it seems to have a more pronounced fatty flavor than the cooked version. It’s as smooth as chocolate. Spreading it on bread with lettuce is truly indulgent. Time for a digestif to cut through the richness! 🍸 The Mojito is spot-on with the perfect hint of lemon to cut through the grease ✅ The red drink is not recommended; if you’re not a fan of cinnamon, definitely avoid it ❌ #food #FrenchCuisine #ParisCuisine #Paris #FoieGras #ConfitDuck #FrenchConfitDuck
