Paris | Not Recommended Restaurant: Spanish Cuisine Suelo
Rating: 馃専馃専馃専 Price: 50-100 EUR per person 馃搷 Address: 7 Rue du Boccador, Paris 馃懅 Review: Overall, this is a restaurant where the ambiance and sense of occasion outweigh the quality of the dishes. The ingredients are fresh, and the portions are reasonably generous. There are some creative twists on classic Spanish dishes. However, considering the vast array of culinary options in Paris, I wouldn't recommend choosing Suelo for a precious meal if you're just a tourist. The value for money is somewhat low. 馃専I ordered the weekend brunch set, which costs 75 EUR per person. It includes two appetizers, one main course, one dessert, and a choice of fresh orange juice or a drink. Additionally, a bottle of water costs 15 EUR. The picture shows the dishes ordered by my friend and me. Given the price, the main course, Garlician Rib Steak Paella, was a bit disappointing. It was too salty, and the steak's temperature made me suspect it might have been pre-prepared. The dessert was quite ordinary, especially the Basque cheesecake, which had a mushy texture and lacked a strong cheese flavor. The Spanish churros were decent, served with caramel sauce and yogurt ice cream, but overall, they were nothing special. 馃専The highlights were the fresh sea urchins and the grilled red mullet fillet, which were tender and delicious. The red mullet fillet, in particular, was a showstopper. The waiter brought it to our table and used a blowtorch to grill it right in front of us before adding the seasonings. The result was a dish with a crispy exterior, tender interior, and a slightly chewy texture鈥攁 truly delightful experience worth trying. #FrenchCuisine #WesternFood #ParisianExploration #SpanishCuisine #ParisRestaurants
