The general ambiance is nice when you walk in, are well greeted. The place is nicely decorated and we had a beautiful table. The kids brunch animation was well organized and our kids had a fun time! The kids menu options are pretty basic but our kids liked the chicken tenders and fries so it was fine. The food quality on the family brunch menu is good but beware you cannot order a la carte or extras from the main menu. The bad part of our experience was the wait time between each course which was far too long. We were happy to take our time but an hour and 20 minutes into our meal we had only been served 1 cold entree which consisted of four sashimi slices of tuna. We were hungry and had to ask for bread. The server was nice but not totally attentive. The staff seemed overwhelmed even if they didn’t seem understaffed. For a pricey upscale Sunday brunch I was expecting much more professional service. While their team was apologetic after we complained they didn’t explain why the service was so slow. When we asked for the bill 3 hours later, they still didn’t manage to get it to our table. We finally walked up to the bar to complete the transaction. For all the hype around this new place it seems like more attention should be placed on the customer experience in order to really encourage customers to come back. I’m a local and have kids so this brunch option seems like a super great idea but I was left disappointed. I would have expected more effort from the staff to explain the situation and find ways to make our wait time more enjoyable…hopefully better...
Read moreI had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
The food itself was decent, with a fusion of Spanish and Italian influences. The Oursin Carabiniero was absolutely delicious, easily the highlight of the meal. I also tried the strawberry tomato soup, but it wasn’t the best seasonal choice., would be perfect if it’s summer. The Carpaccio dorade was fine, though the portion was quite large—better suited for sharing, as it got a bit monotonous after a while. However, I was quite surprised to find fish scales still on the fillet, which was unexpected at this level of dining.
The real issue, though, was the service. There was a clear difference in how French and foreign customers were treated. While waiting for our order, we were not offered any complimentary bread or olives, yet the French-speaking table seated after us received bread, butter, and olives immediately. Additionally, I noticed that other tables had their breadcrumbs cleaned between courses, but our table was completely ignored. Also towards the manager’s attitude, when I raised the fish scales issue. No apologies but cold response as “oh”.
By the end of the meal, the atmosphere had become so uncomfortable that we couldn’t even bear to stay for dessert or coffee—it felt like we were paying to be treated poorly.
If you're a foreign visitor, I wouldn’t recommend this place. No one should have to tolerate discrimination...
Read moreDisappointing experience – would not recommend. We went here after the 9pm show on a weekday night. Despite the restaurant being far from full, the hostess insisted the only available seating was outdoors—on a cold, rainy night. When I asked how long the wait would be, she vaguely said 15 minutes, which seemed like an excuse to avoid seating us inside. Once we were finally seated inside by another gentleman, our entrée order was forgotten and never arrived. The appetizers that did arrive tasted reasonable, though it was noticeably overpriced—even by Paris standards. To top it off, we were charged 15 euros for tap water. Overall, night club quality food and service with night club prices. Not worth the visit. Tourists, just a heads-up—might be best to look elsewhere for a...
