A traditional French restaurant near the Champs-Élysées Seafood is better than red meat here. Sea bass with fennel, dill, and avocado ice cream is very refreshingly seasoned, but the thin slices promised were actually quite thick (I even found a fish scale on one...). Pâté en Croûte, the French meat pie - Lavin's spicy review: I could make one here that would last a week. Scallop⭐️ sauce uses pumpkin, Parmesan, and citrus, creating a rich and delicious creamy aroma with a hint of citrus freshness. The scallop is also large and tender. Prawn is also fresh and tender, with the middle cooked just right, a slightly sticky texture, and mini Italian dumplings inside which feels a bit out of place. The sauce is very fresh but overwhelmingly shrimpy. The selection by the glass is limited. Jules Desjourneys' dry white wine tastes light and thin, not quite standing up to the seafood. Pre-meal bread⭐️ is unexpectedly delicious and can be freely refilled. The culprit of overeating. Roasted venison tenderloin with potato mousse - the venison is a bit dry and chewy, and the potato mousse doesn't seem to serve much purpose, perhaps just to fill you up. Two ways to eat rabbit - the former is a bit too strong in rabbit flavor, and the latter's sauce is thick and heavy, too much for just one bite. The only dessert I liked was the jasmine cream; the others, from presentation to seasoning and texture, all have a crowded feel of budget French cuisine on the street. #ParisLife #GlobalFoodAndDrinkSquad #ParisMichelinRestaurants #ParisFood #AutumnFatteningUp
