Delicious Cuisine, but Service Could Use Some Fine-Tuning
I had the pleasure of dining at Origines that left me with mixed feelings.
While the food showcased some impressive flavors and attention to detail, the overall experience was dampened by inconsistent service that fell short of the restaurant's upscale reputation.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately captivated by the elegant ambiance and stylish decor. The atmosphere exuded sophistication, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.
The menu boasted an array of enticing dishes, each promising a delightful culinary adventure. The chef's expertise was evident in the careful selection of ingredients and the intricate plating techniques employed.
When the food arrived, I was blown away by the exquisite flavors and meticulous presentation. Every dish was a work of art, bursting with fresh ingredients and unique combinations. The attention to detail was truly commendable.
While the requests for refills or additional items were often met with delays or forgotten altogether was a notable drawback, the exceptional quality of the food allowed me to overlook this issue to a certain extent.
It's undeniable that a restaurant's primary focus should be on providing timely and efficient service, but in this case, the culinary delights provided a compelling reason to return.
the restaurant managed to impress me with their commitment to culinary excellence. The flavors, creativity, and quality of the food were truly exceptional, deserving high praise.
I believe that with some improvements in the service department, this restaurant has the potential to become an undisputed gem in Paris.
In conclusion, if you're seeking a dining experience that excites your taste buds and appreciate outstanding cuisine, this restaurant is worth a visit.

Read moreFamily of five (2 adult kids, 1 teenager) had 4 course lunch selection with no alcohol EUR70-80 per person. Courses were:
Smoked eggplant with octopus and arugula Braised pork with corn purée and chanterelles 3 cheeses with honey, citrus and fig jams Melon on sponge with mint sorbet
The above descriptions are woefully basic, and we struggled to identify which course was the favorite. Each was a sublime representation of the dish and while you expect a restaurant of this caliber to deliver excellence routinely, we were not prepared for the wonderful culinary surprises Chef Julien Boscus (Michelin star at Climat in Paris) and team provided. The octopus was tender like I’ve never experienced. The corn purée made me question why we don’t always eat corn this way. The chanterelles packed so much flavor, I wanted an extra bowl of them. The melon was more “melony” and juicy than my best homegrown melons and the mint sorbet made our heads explode. So minty, cool, clean and smooth. We were still questioning how it was possible when we got surprise strawberries that were (surprise) perfect strawberries.
My teenage daughter said she never wanted to leave the restaurant. A son said the strawberry made him see new colors. Obviously they were enthusiastic in their hyperbole, and such effusive praise was warranted.
Chef Julien was able to say hello at the end of the experience, and while he is still waiting for a Michelin star at Origines, you should not wait to dine here.
My kids will forget the Louvre, but they’ll remember how wonderful this meal was for the rest of...
Read moreThis restaurant has been on my list for over a year and I finally found the time to try it out. And I heard that the restaurant recently got awarded with Michelin 1-star, so I’ve been eager to try it out even more! I took my mom out for lunch for a special occasion and she loved it. We both loved the food and appreciated the amicable staffs. From amuse-bouche down to the dessert, the food was a feast of flavors. The main dish had various layers of texture. The duck was cooked to perfection. The dessert was spectacular. We got to try 3 different desserts and each of them was distinct and flavorful. The dessert in this restaurant is very unique because it makes use of ingredients that surprisingly blend in well (like the celery in the citrus dessert). We were very impressed with the creativity and the quality of the dessert. Lastly, the staff was attentive and pleasant. I would highly recommend...
