Paris | Tapas with Every Dish Full of Surprises 🎉

Finally, we're hitting up the always-popular Freddy’s, located in the 6th arrondissement on the Left Bank, for some tapas at a small tavern. Every single dish is delicious~ no duds at all! The most astonishing dish was the grilled scallops, with tender and sweet meat, topped with thin slices of bacon and squid ink, perfectly balanced in flavor~ The sauce is light, allowing the taste of the ingredients to shine through. The salmon was also exceptionally good, semi-cooked, paired with miso and yogurt sauce, which is quite different from the salmon you'd find in most restaurants, but it's truly delicious, and the semi-cooked texture is just perfect. The shredded pork came with mashed potatoes. It had a surprising heavy cumin flavor, but it wasn't salty, and the meat was well-cooked, matching perfectly with the creamy mashed potatoes. The tartar, my favorite dish in French cuisine! Freddy’s tartar is mixed with purple cabbage, fruit, and green sauce, making the overall taste more layered and refreshing 🤩 It was incredibly tasty. We also ordered two glasses of wine, Rosé and Blanc, which were just okay haha, but the food was definitely on point. I really liked the ambiance of this place, the atmosphere inside the restaurant was great, not too big, with seating at the bar, very cozy and perfect for chatting. #Paris #Tavern #HiddenGemTavern #Explore #SpanishTapas #SpanishSnacksTapas #ParisTapas #ParisFood #Spain #MyTavernDiary
