Paris 🍴 A Cute Mexican Restaurant

A restaurant I've been wanting to try for a long time with several branches around the city. I visited the one near Sentier, and remember to make a reservation in advance! The atmosphere is cozy and charming, perfect for a small gathering. The table next to us was celebrating a birthday, which added to the great vibe. 🥳🎉 The magic lies in the fact that🤫 the dishes I had high expectations for turned out to be quite ordinary, while the ones I didn't expect much from were surprisingly delightful! haha I went there for the ceviche and ribs, but I thought the ceviche wasn't as good as the one from a French restaurant near Notre-Dame (though I haven't been to South America, so I can't really judge authenticity haha). The ribs were also pretty average haha, but the tacos I ordered on a whim were amazing...🤤 I usually never eat tacos, but I fell in love with them after this meal. We chose the pork ones, which had an incredibly rich texture, tasting very fresh. The tortilla was slightly crispy on the outside but soft when bitten into, with a strong corn aroma. The accompanying potatoes and sweet potatoes were out of this world... The potatoes were even slightly sweet! For dessert, we couldn't decide, so we ordered both cheesecake and pain perdu. I was worried we wouldn't be able to finish them, but that was not a problem at all...🥹 The sweetness was quite friendly; the cheesecake tasted like yogurt, and the pain perdu was amazing... The topping wasn't ice cream but something like whipped cream or a type of cheese. Overall, it wasn't as rich as we imagined. Their drinks are very reasonably priced—cocktails are around 8 euros, and non-alcoholic ones are 5-6 euros. I ordered a yuzu non-alcoholic drink, which was quite tasty, while my friend chose a very Mexican-style cocktail with chili powder. It was quite unique! 🍸 #ParisianFood #ParisianLife #ParisEats #HiddenGems #AffordableParisianFood #ParisTravel #TreasureRestaurants
