Paris Century-Old Restaurant Le George V Review 🏛️✨
💫 Atmosphere: The ambiance is just like the dreamy Paris one would imagine, with a dark red tone that exudes romantic vibes. 🌹🕯️ 🍷 Taste: 🐌 French Baked Snails - The appetizer is the classic French snails. But after having snails three or four times in France, I found these to be rather average. 😕 🍷 Traditional Beef Bourguignon - This is highly recommended, rich, tender, and generously portioned. 🍲👍 🥩 Steak - Despite reminding them not to overcook it, the steak was still cooked well-done. Avoid this pitfall! It seems like ordering the Beef Bourguignon again would be enough. 🥩🙅♂️ 🍛 Salmon Poke Bowl - Surprisingly delicious, I found myself ordering a poke bowl in a French restaurant! The salmon was very fresh, and the avocado ripe and soft - not bad at all! 🍣🥑 🥪 Duck Liver and Fig on Toast - Ordered based on recommendations, but a bit disappointing, maybe because it was a bit sick by the end. Duck liver just isn't as tasty as goose liver! 🦆🍞 💰 Value for Money: The final bill was 118 Euros considering the number of dishes and the location on the Champs-Élysées, I'd say the value for money is quite good. 💶💸 Recommended dishes: Beef Bourguignon, Salmon Poke Bowl. 🍽️ #EveryMomentWorthCapturing #WeekendGetaways #ParisFood #HiddenGemRestaurants
