SHABOUR is a place worth visiting twice! The culinary team at Shabour consists of four chefs from different countries, leading diners on a journey through Israeli and Mediterranean cuisine. The lunch menu degustation is 78 euros, which includes about 8 courses. After enjoying the 1.5-hour meal, you'll feel very satisfied, having experienced flavors you can't find in traditional French cuisine—it's definitely worth trying! 🌟 This restaurant used to be quite hard to book and required reservations to be made in advance on their website. The entire menu is cooked by the four chefs together, and the U-shaped operation counter allows diners to observe the chefs' movements. 🧑🍳 Each dish is filled with the chefs' ingenuity and a rich Mediterranean flavor. The intense flavor collision, with varying degrees of olive oil in every dish, creates an extreme sweetness and saltiness that you won't find in other Parisian restaurants. 🫒 The Mediterranean olive oil element is brought to the extreme—even the butter for the pre-meal bread is drizzled with olive oil. 🍽️ From the appetizer of hummus-filled pastries, to hummus tomato sauce, mushroom sashimi with grilled leeks, the main course features beef with pepper sauce, squid rice with prawns. 🍫 The final dessert of chocolate mousse drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with Dead Sea salt creates a rich taste experience in the mouth, with the sweetness of the mousse, the bitterness of the salt, and the richness of the olive oil. 🍒 After the final dessert, a fruit plate is served with a variety of seasonal fruits and shortbread cookies. The cherries and apricots are incredibly sweet, and the generous fruit plate feels like a warm home welcome for distinguished guests, overflowing with the team's enthusiasm.
