Paris Is Now All About BBQ Buffets!

🌟It seems like Paris has shifted its focus from hot pot to BBQ! There are so many new BBQ places popping up. Over the weekend, four of us went to a Japanese BBQ place near the Opéra. The food was really close to what I had in Japan. You could choose between buffet or à la carte. We went on Saturday at noon, and there were plenty of seats available. We opted for the buffet, which was €50 per person. Each person could order five dishes per round, for a total of three rounds. Lettuce, side dishes, and other items were included in the rounds. Pros: 🌟High-Quality Meat: The meat was incredible—something I’ve never experienced in a BBQ buffet. As you can see from the photos, most of it was freshly sliced, not marinated. The owner said it had just arrived that morning and was very fresh. 🌟Great Ambiance: The place was newly renovated, clean, spacious, and had plenty of seating. Friendly Owner: The owner was very attentive and provided excellent service. (The waitstaff were a bit inconsistent, which I’ll explain later.) When we ordered, he introduced each cut of meat. Since all four of us have big appetites, we basically ordered only meat for all three rounds. But we never felt like we were being penalized for ordering too much meat, and the portions were always generous! 🌟My favorite dishes were the beef brisket and the raw beef salad—they were just amazing! 🌟Cons: Slow Service: The food took a while to arrive. We had a reservation for 12:30 p.m., and the waitstaff told us to finish all three rounds by 2 p.m. But after we ordered the first round, it took almost until 1:30 p.m. for the food to arrive. We quickly placed the second round, but by 2 p.m., it still hadn’t come. There was no time for the third round. When we asked the owner, he said it would be best to order the third round by 2:30 p.m. So it seemed like the waitstaff wanted to finish early and told us to order by 2 p.m. #BBQ #Wagyu #MeatLovers #ParisianFood #France #StudentEating
