I have been living in Paris for six years, and I almost never leave negative reviews — maybe once in all that time. But this experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it.
We were a group of eight, split across two tables. Our friends ordered slightly before us and got their food a full 20–30 minutes earlier. When our entrées finally started arriving, we received only five out of eight. After repeatedly asking, two more came 20 minutes later — one of which was literally still frozen solid, as if just pulled out of the fridge. We complained, and they promised to replace it right away, but nothing ever came. Another entrée eventually showed up after our mains had already arrived, and two others never arrived at all. When we asked again, the staff told us the kitchen had already closed, despite the fact we had been asking for these dishes for 45 minutes.
The mains were also staggered, with one table being served a good 25 minutes before the other. For the repeated mistakes, the restaurant’s idea of an apology was a single small beer for the entire table — eight people.
Finally, dessert was supermarket mochi, served frozen and rock-hard. When we voiced our disappointment, the response we got was: “Some days the food is good, and some days the food is not so good.”
That was their explanation.
This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Paris. Between the delays, missing dishes, poor service, and shockingly careless attitude, I cannot recommend this...
Read moreI rarely give bad reviews. I mean why wasting the time. But, the service at this restaurant was so horrible that I just cannot stay silent.
We first found the restaurant on social media, where the food and ambiance looked amazing. However, when we arrived, we discovered that they had completely changed the menu and prices.
While we were willing to overlook the sudden changes, the real issue was the manager’s attitude. He didn’t bother to even apologize for the misleading descriptions online. Instead, he blamed the customers for leaving leftovers, used that as a justification for the menu changes, and then blamed his supervisor for not updating the prices online.
Essentially, he pointed fingers at everyone except himself and refused to offer even the smallest apology to the customers already dining there. His respond to deal with the matter really frustrated us and we think if you’re coming to this restaurant you should be aware of their management issues and probably lower the whatever...
Read moreWe visited tuesday for lunch, with a group of people. Although the atmosphere was pleasant, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor service. My friend talked in french as we wanted to try the barbecue, but the server who explained the menu to us was very confused ,leaving us unsure of its availability. Then again we tried to communicate in English, but she didn't understand, and we ultimately had to settle for the €20 menu. As we thought berbecue was not for the lunch. Then we saw the other tables they got berbecue menus but for very bad communication with the server we couldn't forward our demand.
For the price, it seemed excessive for just 2 things, especially considering the confusion and lack of clear communication.
Despite the pleasant atmosphere, the service needs to be improved to avoid...
