Paris Michelin Restaurant Check-in: Kigawa🍽️

For our 5th wedding anniversary, we visited a Japanese-inspired one-Michelin-starred restaurant in the 14th arrondissement. The exterior of the restaurant is quite inconspicuous. Inside, the dining area is small, with only about 5 or 6 tables. Mozart piano music plays in the background, and the overall neoclassical design and soft furnishings give a feeling of elegance and tranquility. The lunch service starts at 12:15, and when we arrived, the place was already full of guests. A waiter with a Japanese-accented French introduced the dishes to us. Compared to some snobbish waitstaff at other restaurants, this one was truly heartwarming. 😊 **Amuse-bouche:** Pumpkin soup with roasted beef tongue. 🥣 **Appetizers:** Salmon tower with black truffle; grilled scallops (the restaurant provides lemon-flavored butter in a shape resembling ice cream, which pairs wonderfully with warm bread). 🍣 **Main Course:** Standard options, with choices of fish, pork, or lamb. 🍖 **Dessert:** Matcha cake tart, exquisitely crafted with layers of different textures. Japanese-style Hojicha tea with red berry sauce adds a unique flavor. 🍰 The lunch set is quite affordable: two appetizers + main course + dessert for 55€. The service and checkout are quick, making it perfect for working parents who want to enjoy a meal during the week or on weekends with their kids. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 #ParisianEats #FrenchRestaurant #HiddenGem #OneStarMichelin #AmbianceVibes #ParisianLife #JapaneseCuisine #FoodieCheckin
