Paris Oyster Feast 🦪 | Binge-Eating & Review

My friend and I are oyster fanatics, so when we landed in France, our mission was clear: devour as many oysters as possible! First Stop: Perlouse (A Local Favorite) Right after our Saturday flight, we rushed to Perlouse, a Xiaohongshu-recommended spot loved by locals. They have a happy hour deal from 5-8 PM—but we arrived at 7:55 PM to find it packed inside and out 😭. The staff repeatedly asked if we had a reservation, then regretfully said, “No seats today—try tomorrow.” Plot twist: After lingering outside (and chain-smoking 🚬) while frantically searching for other oyster spots (all fully booked), we almost gave up. At 8:30 PM, the staff suddenly offered us a table to “rest” (they pitied our hunger!). We couldn’t order at first, but then—magic—they handed us a menu! We gleefully ordered 30 oysters 🦪 + 2 white wines for just €77! Review: Oysters: Insanely fresh and sweet! We tried every variety. Bread & butter: Heavenly. Lesson: Always book ahead for dinner—or suffer like us! Second Stop: La Lorraine (Near the Arc de Triomphe) 📍 7-min walk from the Arc de Triomphe We ordered: Single-person oyster platter (2 oysters each, €19) Escargots 🐌 2 beers (Total: €47) Review: Small oysters: Super sweet! Bread: Meh—sour and underwhelming. Verdict: Great value, but stick to the oysters. Final Thoughts: French people are so lucky to eat oysters daily! 🦪🇫🇷 #Oysters #France #Paris #FrenchOysters #StudyAbroadUK #ParisEats #FrenchCuisine #SeafoodFeast #FoodieGoals #ReservationRequired #StudentEats
